Our Rental Policies

Check-In & Check-Out

CHECK-IN

Check-in time is NO EARLIER than 4:00 p.m. on your arrival date. Because we need adequate time to properly clean and maintain our rentals between guests, we do not allow early check-in. No exceptions.

CHECK-OUT

Check-out time is NO LATER than 10:00 a.m. on your departure date. Because we need adequate time to properly clean and maintain our rentals between guests, we do not allow late check-out. No exceptions.

Things we don't allow

NO SMOKING

For insurance and safety reasons, and the consideration of others, all of our indoor facilities are designated strictly non-smoking. Therefore, smoking inside any Faithful Street Inn rental, will result in a minimum $500.00 cleaning charge and immediate eviction with no refund.

NO ANIMALS OR PETS

We do not allow the presence of animals or pets on the Faithful Street Inn property or in our vacation rentals. In consideration of guests with animal allergies, we do not make ANY exception to this policy. Thus, the presence of any animal or pet will result in a minimum $500.00 cleaning charge and immediate eviction with no refund.

NO RVs, CAMPING TRAILERS, or Motorcoaches

We do not allow RVs or camping trailers on our property - even if you just plan to park it and not sleep in it. However, we do allow and welcome trailers for snowmobiles, ATVs, and motorcycles. As we are in a residential area and strive to be good neighbors, we do not allow large motorcoaches to park, load, or unload on or next to our property. Local tour companies with mini-busses, vans, and snowcoaches are more than welcome to pick up and drop off at our cabins.

No more than 3 cabins per group

In consideration of other guests on property, we do not allow any one group to rent more than 3 cabins per stay during peak season. Our peak season is from the end of April to the end of October.

We do not accept guest Packages or Mail

In our town, the U.S. Postal Service does not deliver to street addresses. Parcels shipped by Fed Ex or UPS are often transferred to the post office for the final leg of their journey. For these reasons, we will not accept guest parcels or mail shipped to Faithful Street Inn. For a small fee, you may ship something ahead of arrival to QuickPrint who is just 2 blocks from us. Please contact them for shipping information.

Deposit & Cancellation Policy

After booking a reservation, you will receive a pre-filled rental agreement to sign. For a sample rental agreement that details our rental policies, please click here.

Deposit & final payment

Half of the total cost is charged at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. Final payment of the remaining half of the total cost is due and charged at 60 days prior to your arrival date.

Failure to pay the final payment in a timely manner on or before 60 days before your arrival date will be considered a cancellation and will authorize us to retain the full reservation deposit as liquidated damages.

Cancellation More than 60 days before Arrival

If you cancel more than 60 days before the Arrival Date, you will be entitled to a full refund of your deposit, less a cancelation fee of 10% of the total rents (cost per night less taxes and cleaning fee). 

Cancellation 60 days or less before Arrival 

If, for any reason, you cancel at 60 days or less before your Arrival Date, the entire amount of the Rent is still due and will be retained by Faithful Street Inn as liquidated damages. However, if we are able to re-rent your cabin under the same (or better) terms and conditions, we will refund deposits paid, less a cancellation fee of 10% of the total rents (cost per night less taxes and cleaning fee). If the cabin is rented for an amount less than the total rent, you will be responsible for and we will retain the difference between the total rent and the amount that we received from a substitute renter. 

Unexpected Cancellations

No refunds will be issued for late arrivals, early departures, inclement weather, unexpected life events, or other circumstances beyond the control of Faithful Street Inn. We highly recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance.
